Ireland, present day. An unexplained epidemic sweeps the world, spreading fast: the power goes out, communication disappears, and life as we know it collapses within hours. Some people die. Others become infected and stop being themselves — aggressive, mindless creatures driven only by hunger and the instinct to kill. No one knows where the contagion came from or why it began. One thing is certain: the empty roads of Ireland are now roamed by those who were once human.

DIESEL is a post-apocalyptic thriller at the crossroads of horror and road drama, told through multiple characters. Each storyline follows a new protagonist, with a new goal and a new price to pay for survival — but all of them exist within the same shared, collapsing world, one that gradually reveals more of itself to the audience with every new chapter.

The project is produced entirely in Ireland — not as a backdrop, but as the foundation of the story itself: real Irish roads, coastlines, fog, and small towns, an Irish cast and crew, and national character woven into every detail.

The series is currently in development. A proof of concept for one of its storylines has already been shot — the story of Alex.

What comes next: new characters, new roads, and a world that hasn't yet revealed all of its secrets.
